What Does It Feel Like Losing $50k in 2 days Trading FX? | Forex
Information | Currency | Markets | Fx | Video | Assets | Lesson | Trading
My portfolio now stands at $402k, fortunately I recovered well coming into the end of the month due to a nice recovery from Kilimanjaro. As well as a a bit of luck with Brexit on short EURUSD positions I was holding with FX Viper. I'm still on track, drawdowns are part of trading and in percentage terms this isn't devastating. I quietly confident of a full recovery by next month's update:) Please drop in and say hello to me inside our new free forex trading room www.ForexSignals.com. I'm generally available during the Asian session and early London.

Hey Nick! Love to see you being honest an accepting the downside of trading! We all been there! Too large DD to my taste. Keep on the good work!

You're a millionaire acting like losing 50k is a big deal! If i had a million in an account i would go to penny stocks and would by no less than 50,000 shares at a time. and when it goes up .10 i'll sell! I'd do that everyday. The shit is either going to go up or down. I will of course study the chart to make sure it's going up some and everything is good but yea. Shit isn't hard at all. But if you have money like that to buy 50,000 shares then this is simple. I wouldn't need 3 monitors and all that other shit. It'll be basically 1-30min. before i sell. Most of the time it'll go up atleast .10cents. You do the math on .10 at 50,000 shares everyday. Out of 7 days there is no way you come out a big loser. If that shit drops 1cent just take your money out and try again. But most of the time it'll go up first.

Nick, I really appreciate your honest candour in which you express yourself. Instead of trying to sell us a no-loose guaranteed system, you tell it like it is. Great to see it in a person and a company. Cheers!

I don't understand why do you talks so much about losses ?

Hey Nick. I think you are a great guy, and i really respect what you are trying to do, but something is very wrong with an 86k DD. Those NZD trades that Kilimanjaro is in are suicide imo, and could easily end up blowing your account. You need to ditch that guy, he does not know how to trade. I hope you manage to turn it around, and wish you all the best.

Hi,i suffered huge slippage problem in IC market during news trading, would you please help me to find out any broker who don't have such slippage or they compensate their client in case for slippage losses.
thank you for sharing knowledgeable video. -
I think you are the first one that's actually showing all sides of this profession. Thumbs up to you! This struggle is really similar to how I sometimes feel when I see loss like yours. At least your losses are limited. Thanks to my own stupid mistakes and trading the brexit I lost about 80 % of my initial investment.

how much did you put for that trade?

Keep your head up nick thats the game we're playing we all know that day will come all you have to do is pick your self up and keep going. Your defiantly a role model

Great video. Can I ask you why it was around 12%? Was it just a statistical fluctuation, or do you think you could have done some things differently, and there were lessons there to be learned. If the latter please share it with us so we can avoid that in the future.

Thanks for sharing Nick.

Happens to us all at times. Stop loss management is critical. I use the T. Line which, thus far this year, is providing an 82% success rate.

** He wants to buy the USD/CAD you mean :)
Sorry to hear about the large drawdown, but all a part of it as you say. I subscribed to a signals provider a few months back, more than doubled my money in the space of a fortnight, then gradually lost it all over the next month :-(
That's what happens when you don't manage your risk well enough - or when you don't have an account size to sustain trading.. -
You can do it!!
