In this video I follow on from the video on compounding. I trade a small account but I also show you the damage that can be done if you allow yourself to ignore your plan and take emotional trades.

hi James, if I was to practice the same risk on a £10000 demo account then I would be risking £200 per trade. So then 25 pips means I need £8 per pip? does this mean I need to trade with 8 lots? How would I know what leverage I was trading at and the risk if im trading 8 lots?

Thank you.

when you say don't risk more than 2% does that include the margin of the instrument you are trading?

Decisive Trading, thank you so much for the wonderful videos you're making. I have a question about trading with a small account. Is it possible for me to start with 1,000 pounds on the FTSE 100 and compound it to growth? I've watched your video and I understand your calculations but unfortunately, 1,000 pounds is the only money I can risk at the moment and I really want to start.

Great vid again James! Couple of questions. When trading a small account should leverage be avoided at all cost? What would you recommend as a minimum account size to let profits run? How do you decide when to take profits out the account (i.e. during losing weeks, average weeks and extremely good weeks)? Cheers mate :)
