Use a simulator to pretend you are trading real money tick for tick. Dont be an idiot and jump in with real money until you find something that works for you. I have seen traders lose thousands/millions of dollars with minimal testing or strategies for scam FX courses and gurus. Remember the markets are dynamic. They are consistently changing. What worked for a few months or a couple of years may not work again. Personally I revise my strategy at the end of every year making some tweaks.
