How do you know what period to use in your Moving Averages. I know some used 20 days EMA and 50 days period. Do you go by the price of the Stocks?

i have been backtesting this strategy on multiple currencies and multiple time frames, but i found that at most the win / loss ratio of each trade was 1:1 and this is provided you know where to place your take profit.

I just backtested back to january 2016 with some other ema's: 20 and 50.
For the market I am following (our national index) these are the ema's being used by our "bank-experts" for the short and long-term averages.
Tested on an 1 hour chart.
Possible trades: 13
Wins: 8
Lost: 5
Based on risk/reward ratio of 1 to 1.5
So that means: 61% chance of succes. Nice :) -
This is actually a very nice trend continuation strategy which I learned as very first basic-rule in trading !

For a downtrend I understand it's the opposite than from the example of an uptrend in the video right?
So as soon as the 100 crosses below the 200. And when the price is being rejected to the upside (above the 100) that would be your selling-entry, correct? -
Nice strategy tutorial ,, but i am getting curious now of what you are trading now ?? What is your trading strategy?? Because i see you are keep changing strategies!! (78.6-- enhanced 78.6--patterns--moving average) instead of focusing on only one ???!!!
