Hi, I downloaded the demo version of tickstory lite. I tested it by exporting the tick data (no bar data) from dukascopy into a .csv file and opened it. There I saw things I do not understand:
1) There is a column for volume. It says 3,... 3.75,....2.25,... What does that mean?
2) Does the format in which I export the data to MT4 matter (like tab, space, comma...)?
3) Does each row stand for a single tick? -
I have several troubles for fitting the hours in the right place. I don't know why, if I download history data from MT4, it's on the right place...but when I export data from Tickstory to the MT4, the data seems to be almost identical...but it's like 3 hours displaced. I tried to export the data from Tickstory by changing UTC+3 but it won't work out. Ever heard of this problem? Please help!

In the FAQ you say we need a version of MT4 build 765 or prior, but there's no such link for it's download anymore. Could you please upload a valid one? Thanks

I exported data to MT4, but the quality is still bad, I dont need to activate anything in MT4 after export?

Yeah same thing happened here did all the steps and tried launching and keeps coming up with errors and won't launuch

I purchased Tick Story and it functions great however, the Volumes appear to be totally erroneous. Virtually all the volumes in all hour ranges for 1 min time frame are in the 100 to 500 range and far exceed what I see for live volumes at Dukascopy which, for instance, are in the 10 - 30 range in hour 18. This makes use of the data worthless unless there is a fix. Please advise.

whats the difference between the payed and lite version?

Great tool. It makes backtesting EAs on tick data much easier. We can also use it with simulators like 'MT4 Trading Simulator' or 'SphereTester' to train manual trading on MT4. The simulation will look more real with tick data.

Your presentation and company name is misleadingly suggesting that you can back test with Tick Precision in Metatrader. While the Ticks in the back tester are only a simulation of what could have happened. The ticks are regenerated based on a smart algorithm in MT4. The most precise data in MT4 are the "open high low close" of the 1 minute bar !

So for this method, do we need to go through all the steps every time metatrader is restarted? (like if I reboot my PC can I just open the metatrader and start backtesting or do I need to go through all 5 steps again)
