in every video trying to get subscriber to the program... geeez. either make helpful videos if you truly want to help people or make a commercial spot for your course, but stop wrapping your sales pitch in supposedly "helpful" videos. same thing goes for jason. ALL your clients are now pros after 12 weeks and millionaires... -.-

OMG, quite irritating. Although what you say is good stuff Akil and I like you a lot, everything that comes out of Charle's mouth just sounds like a freaking sales pitch. It is so annoying. I don't watch any of his stuff anymore. He doesn't say anything of value.

I treated the demo money like REAL money (helped 'demo' my emotions..lol). I also reduced the amount of the demo account money to a realistic amount. I started with $100,000 in a demo account. Am I going to start LIVE trading with that much? I wish. .lol. I reduced it to $200 and traded Micro Lots. Forget the money made on the account(making pennies is not exciting) focus on capturing PIPS. (disclaimer: this is my opinion and what I did personally. Take from it what you will). Love these videos man! Thanks!

Hey Akil thanks for the video, I have one question, is it possible to trade without any indicators? Thank you again.

I have done all the mistakes and even made up some new ones, but5 there is one thing that will save you money more than anything.
MONEY MANAGEMENT!!!
I did like a bunch of folks do, came into 50k and instantly I was a daytrader...took a year o lose it but I did. ALL of it.
At one time I had 50% of my cash in 1 trade...ONE, ONE trade and it went south fast and I promise I never traded more than 20 different stocks the whole time...2 winners and took them early...the rest I just kept doubling down cause I know I am right it is the market that needs to come around.
Never have more than 2% in a single trade and never more than 5% total out there. If it isnt a 2:1 winner at least its a loser. (My opinion, I really do not care about anyone else's) All kinds of places out there to find different rules on this. I am getting my cash back now slowly but surly, but I am now hitting singles and quit swinging for the fences -
Akil, tremendous respect for you as a trader. In the same way that a professional golfer hits every single shot thousands of times in practice sessions, before executing them in competitive golf, isn't demo trading the same idea. Can't we as traders try to overcome the temptation to abandon our rules, by calling back upon our experiences in demo trading? You teach that once we have an idea for an edge, we back-test it to build confidence, but isn't demo trading so that we get our execution to the point of unconscious competence, via good habit building. I'm not suggesting that someone who performs well in demo trading will automatically perform well with real dollars, but I am suggesting that if done correctly, demo trading can be a valuable tool to help one towards successful trading. Btw, I should have listened to you a year ago with regard to back-testing, but am doing it now. Great videos Akil - thank you.

Nice Videos Akil. I tried harmonic trading but it wasn't one i could use. I'm more of a scalper. I've been able to rack up over $1000 a week. Check my youtube channel out for proof of my success. Thanks

Nice video, Akil! I can relate to the part about not asking my mentor for the extra help when I really needed it. Thankfully, those days are over. Basically, he told me he would have given me the help. So I learned this lesson first the hard way by trying to fix my errors alone, too! And the scene at the end was my day in and day out experience as I tried to fix things by myself. Hilarious, but extremely frustrating at the time! In complete anger, rebellion, foolishness and a dozen other out of control emotions I ended up blowing my 'old' demo account. Who blows a demo account? LoL

sometimes i use Demo side by side with Live, sometimes i used Demo to plan & execute the trade & if it works/confirms , i immediately open the trade on Live.. the only con with that, sometimes by the time i switch over to Live, the price move has already extended enough, so basically late to the party.. it helps more for long term trading..
but the only really big difference between Demo & Live trading.. Demo, your trade doesn't count, the market has no idea your even there .. where as Live, you could have a 1 lot position ex & technically it could still influence/move the market, if there are not any other bids at that level..
tho today with computer-bot trading the chances of ever being the only buyer or seller is pretty much impossible, i would say even a 100 lot position goes pretty much un-noticed.. 100 lot order will just get out-bid instantly by a computer-bot with-in a nano second, where as back in the days Floor Trading, a 1 lot position could have been enough to actually move the market ..
but yeah definitely, start small, go slow & the transition from Demo to Live should be pretty smooth.. -
Hi akil , i would like to get into forex trading but where can i start learning? which website? books? platform? Thank you!

Good vidéo as always
I prefer trade live with a small amount trading 0.01lot because demo trading lead to bad habit because of my personality
I'm really interested in your program
But I have some question can I send you a email? -
Great video! Thanks again for the featuring! Love the angry trader at the end, one of my favs..happy thanksgiving Akil!

Great video Akil.. Demo trading is a must before trading a real account.... It is the first step at getting to know oneself while trading. Personally I developed a mindset where I treat my demo account like my real account.. so the transition to a real account was not too bad for me.
-
Great video ! Exactly what I always said when people were asking me why after 6 months I was still trading my demo account ... "I'm not in a rush to lose money".
