More at www.exacttrading.com. In this video I review the trading which took place in the EURO/USD pair during December 2016. At exacttrading.com my job as the owner and founder of the company is to show people how I look to trade the London Forex session on a daily basis. Rather than letting the market entice me into forcing my hand, I wait for the market itself to let it show me its hand. Once I understand the direction that it wants to take, I then set myself up for trading the reversal of the move. A little known fact of the London session is that the first move of the day is very often a move in the opposite direction to the direction that the market ultimately takes. The London traders – especially in the GBP/USD – are past masters at sending other traders, hedge funds and retail the wrong way. I have a rigid criteria set up which gets me into these reversal trades, firstly and this helps greatly for anyone trying to contain their trading within a certain time frame and not get sucked in to trading all day during – I respect a time window of around 8 AM – 11 AM CET – which is 2AM EST – 5 AM. During this window the market will make its move and progress towards a recognized bank trading level. Once there, our job as traders is to assess the price action which ensues and to note if the price action momentum candles at that point are indeed reversal candles. As soon as we see that they are reversal candles then we look to go with them. Forex trading is about understanding who controls the market and when. The London trading session is one of the easiest sessions to trade, when you understand this daily price action move.
