1. I do not understand. This gentleman states that if wave 3 is the shortest he will for that reason not trade it. But how do you know that BEFORE the 5 waves are complete? How do you know that before wave 3 in itself is complete? I am afraid that as all of these self proclaimed "top traders" on internet, Mr. Piper has most probably not ones placed a trade with real money for himself. My guess is that he wants to sell something!!

3. This is a decent video about a past trading experience using Elliot Wave. However, the title is completely inaccurate, it is not a short guide at all. One would a expect an outline of all of the various patterns and sequences in a short guide, with a some ratio analysis thrown in. I would have titled it something like 'Elliot Wave - A successful application of the Principle'

   i have a rule in my tradeplan that states. if wave 0-1 is longer than 2-3 then expect 9 waves, otherwise 5 waves are normal before a correction.  seems to work often enough to be in my rulebook.

8. on ERBB I assume you mean the last few days. 2 points: first very short term patterns are less reliable; the wave count is not clear as the "third" wave looks to be the shortest which is contrary to the rules. I don't trade this stock otherwise I could comment further but nice short term triangle (on 27 March 2014) and a break today is guaranteed - email jptt@aweber.com and I will email you the chart 
9. So if I'm applying this theory correctly. ERBB next move/wave should be up soon considering its recent downtrend. Its now in its 5th wave. Clarification?

14. I think it is up to the analyst, I never tell people how they should do stuff. If it works use it!
15. I think Elliott Wave doesn't use bar chart and line chart with closing price connecting together to count. It should be a cash chart that we must draw it by our own so that we can see the sub-divide and know which one is correction which one is impulse. 
16. I don't agree that all elliotticians do this but some might, I don't.Impossible to comment more without a concrete example. If you want to upload an example via You Tube video I would be happy to give you my thoughts. 
17. It seems all of you elliotticians count some waves as part of the pattern and then some do not. So a pattern with 7 waves can have the 5 we are looking for. So what is the deal?? 
18. Thank you for this interesting video.I have never used Elliot Waves in my trading,but now I understand and I will look at my charts from a different perspective.These waves allow you to see the big picture.
19. I like the Elliot Wave theory but I have never been able to make it benefit my trading. The theory is good and I know people who love using it, but personally I use oscillators for divergence with the bullpips method (search "bullpips" for info) and they work very well together.
